We are in a hurry, work is busy and handover is around the corner!
Time is running out and we all have to work hard until the last days. We still have finishing touches to do and our hands are working on all fronts. And where exactly are we pressed for time? The installations in the family house need to be finished, the water involves erecting and connecting the water tower, the sewer involves waterproofing the septic tank and making a concrete backfill on the seepage pit as well, and we still have wires sticking out of the wall, so we need to wire a few more switches and sockets. After all, we want to both flush, wash our hands and shine the light!
This Wednesday the 18th. September we hand over the finished building to the local community and the glory will be great. The handover ceremony will be attended by a representative from the Office of the President of Zambia, a representative from the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Lusaka and members of the NGO from the local community. Neighbors from the surrounding area will also be attending this unprecedented glory and we expect up to over 100 guests to come and enjoy this rare moment with us. We don't want to let anyone down and that is why we have been working late into the night over the last few days to get everything done properly.
Stay tuned, we will be documenting and sharing the entire ceremony with you.
Greetings from Kashitu!
